Episode 10 - Caitlin Machak (Cinematographer)

In episode 10, I interviewed cinematographer Caitlin Machak. She’s worked on Friends From College, House of Cards, At Home with Amy Sedaris, and many more. In this episode, we geeked out on lenses, discussed working with different directors, what makes up the camera department, working with film and digital cameras, and being a political activist.

As of this recording, Jesse, the short film she filmed during 2019’s Pride March got accepted into the LA Queer Film Festival. Congratulations to Caitlin and the whole team! Don't Forget to Remember got accepted into the 2020 Lighthouse International Film Festival and can be viewed in the Episodics Block #1 anytime between Monday, June 15th at 12:00pm to Saturday, June 20th at 11:59pm. Tentatively there is an online Q&A scheduled for Friday, June 19th at 3:00pm
